Sound Indoors introduces the acoustics of large spaces like Hammerson Hall, exploring how isolation, useful reflections, and reverberation control, achieved through room-in-room design, angled walls, and adjustable curtains, create critical listening environments with a quiet noise floor and precise sound delivery. This module lays a foundation for understanding architectural sound sculpting, applicable to venues and studios alike, setting the stage for deeper acoustic studies.

In this module, Sound Control dives into the methods of shaping audio within a space, introducing the essential techniques of absorption, diffusion, and isolation. In this module, we explore how these tools allow us to refine acoustics for clear and balanced sound in any setting.

In this module, Studio Design steps into the craft of building precision acoustic spaces, emphasizing the balance of frequencies, isolation, and reverberation. In this module, we examine how these elements come together to create studios ideal for capturing and monitoring sound accurately. 

In this module, Large & Small Room Characteristics investigates how a room’s size defines its acoustic personality, comparing large and small spaces. In this module, we explore how these differences influence sound behavior and recording possibilities across various contexts.

In this module, HVAC Noise & Vibration tackles the challenge of maintaining silence in studios, focusing on heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. We uncover strategies to quiet these systems while keeping the environment comfortable and functional.
